Privacy Policy

The short version

We do not track you.

This website sets no cookies, runs no third-party scripts and asks you for nothing. The only personal data we hold about you is what you choose to send us by email, plus the standard technical logs our hosting provider keeps to deliver and defend the site.

We do not sell personal data, we do not profile you and we run no advertising.

The rest of this page is the detail the GDPR requires.

1. Who is responsible

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer. We are not required to: we do not monitor people on a large scale and we do not process special categories of data. Any privacy question sent to the address above reaches the people who can answer it.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers www.nomadiumrobotics.com and email you send to us.

It does not cover other companies’ websites we link to, or the social platforms where we also post, including YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram. Those services collect data under their own policies and we have no control over them.

3. What the website itself collects: nothing

We think it is worth being specific rather than vague. This site:

• sets no cookies and writes nothing to local or session storage
• has no contact form, no newsletter sign-up, no account and no login
• loads no third-party scripts, no advertising tags, no social widgets and no embedded players
• serves its fonts from our own server, not from a font CDN
• runs no analytics of any kind
• asks you for no personal data at any point

Every “Contact us” button on this site is an ordinary email link. It opens your own email program with the subject filled in. It sends nothing by itself, and nothing reaches us unless you write a message and press send.

The white paper is published as a page you can simply read. There is no form in front of it and no email address to hand over.

4. Technical logs

Like every website, ours is delivered by a hosting provider that keeps short-term technical logs. These typically record the IP address of the request, the browser’s user-agent string, the page requested, the time and the response status.

We use them to deliver pages, keep the site available and defend it against attack and abuse.

Legal basis: legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our interest is running a secure, working website. We do not use these logs to build a picture of any individual.

Retention: a short period set by our hosting provider, after which the records are deleted or aggregated. We do not export them or keep an archive of our own.

5. If you email us

When you write to us we receive your email address, any name or company you give, and whatever you put in the message. If you send an attachment, we receive that too.

We use it to answer you and to continue the conversation.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your message is a step towards a contract, for example an enquiry about buying or testing a product. Otherwise legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f), in responding to people who contact us.

Retention: for as long as the enquiry or the relationship is live. Where a message becomes a business record, Bulgarian accounting and commercial law sets longer minimum periods and we keep it for those.

6. Who else handles your data

We use a small number of providers. They act as our processors and may only handle data on our instructions.

• Website hosting. The site is currently served by Webflow, Inc. (United States). We are moving it to Cloudflare, Inc. (United States). This page will be updated when that happens.
• Email. Google Workspace, provided by Google Ireland Limited.

We use no advertising networks, no data brokers, no visitor-identification services and no enrichment tools. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we never will.

We may disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Transfers outside the EEA. Some of these providers are established in the United States. Where a provider is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework we rely on that adequacy decision. Otherwise we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with the technical measures the provider applies. You can ask us which applies to a given provider.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you (Article 15)
• correct it if it is wrong (Article 16)
• erase it in the circumstances the law allows (Article 17)
• restrict how we use it (Article 18)
• receive it in a portable form (Article 20)
• object to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21)
• withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent (Article 7(3))

To exercise any of these, email team@nomadiumrobotics.com. We will respond within one month. Exercising them costs you nothing.

Complaints. If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Ours is the Commission for Personal Data Protection, 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd, 1592 Sofia, Bulgaria, cpdp.bg. You may instead complain to the authority in the EU country where you live or work.

8. Automated decisions and profiling

We make no automated decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects for you, and we do no profiling.

9. Children

This site is aimed at professional, industrial and institutional users. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

10. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Our email and internal systems use multi-factor authentication and access is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we hold very little data about website visitors in the first place, which is the most reliable protection there is.

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when what we do changes, and we will move the date at the top. If a change is material, we will say so on the page rather than leave you to spot it.
